Job Title: Corporate Governance Program Manager (Contractor)

Client: Financial Sector Company

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Corporate Governance Program Manager on a contractual basis to assist in the evolution of its corporate governance framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, corporate governance, and legal topics, along with significant experience in the financial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Outcome Definition: Collaborate with the Board and Executive Committee to define and agree on program outcomes for the corporate governance evolution plan.

Program Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive program plan to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Execution Management: Oversee the consistent execution of the program in line with the established plan, conducting regular reviews to assess progress and make necessary adjustments.

Reporting: Prepare detailed status reports on program performance for the Board and Executive Committee to ensure transparency and accountability.

Relationship Management: Manage relationships with various external service providers to ensure successful collaboration and support for the program.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven track record in project management within the financial industry, with a focus on corporate governance and legal topics.

Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders, including Board members, executive committees, and domain experts.

Proficiency in engaging and managing a variety of stakeholders (Senior Level, 6-9 years of experience).
Financial Industry Knowledge:

Solid understanding of the financial sector and its operational nuances (Professional Level, 4-5 years of experience).

In-depth understanding of corporate governance principles and legal frameworks relevant to the industry (Professional Level, 4-5 years of experience).
