[Client Name] is currently seeking a full-time Public Procurement Buyer (Services ICT) to support our Procurement Department. The successful candidate will possess expertise in category management and public tendering, ensuring compliance with public buyer procedures and all related activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the Head of Procurement in the Public Tendering Process:
Manage all tasks associated with being a Category Buyer, ensuring effective purchasing procedures while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, contracts, and procurement processes.
Oversee and facilitate procurement procedures to ensure compliance with regulations, adherence to deadlines, and the attainment of efficient purchases.
Supervise the setup and execution of IT Services Contracts.
Assist team members with their ongoing procurement activities.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Address all incoming inquiries related to public tenders.
Monitor orders, delivery timelines, and compliance with contractual obligations.
Technical Profile Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in public procurement.
Expert knowledge of public procurement processes and public tenders.
Extensive experience in ICT services procurement.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Non-Technical Profile Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on training and coaching.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional customer service orientation and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to adhere to change management processes and internal guidelines.
Methodology/Certification Requirements:
Master's Degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, or equivalent experience.
Language Proficiencies:
Proficient in French and Dutch (flexibility possible).
Proficient in English.
