I am partnering with a client who are recruiting for a Procurement Officer on a permanent basis. The clients offices are in Derby and the successful candidate will be required to attend site at least once a month.
Job purpose:
To Support the Senior Transactional Procurement Manager to develop and maintain a coordinated approach towards procurement and contract management, seeking value for money, relationship and performance management of suppliers and offering advice on all transactional purchasing and contract activity.
Duties will include:
Setup and management of supplier contracts utilising the appropriate terms and conditions of contracts and appropriate schedules
Supplier management including the establishment and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators.
Management of a range of corporate contracts including but not limited to, IT, Telecoms, Travel, FM, Agency
Management of Contracts Database including details of all contracts, contractual documentation and linking into the annual rolling workplan
Internal management of the e-procurement system
Provide procurement advice to internal stakeholders and customers.
