In this role, you'll collaborate with talented engineers to develop, implement, and oversee cloud security solutions, focusing on safeguarding and ensuring compliance for the Azure Cloud infrastructure and upcoming microservice platforms.

Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce robust security policies, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) security controls, compliance checks, and monitoring solutions.
Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans across cloud environments.
Design and implement role-based access control, network segmentation, and identity management for secure, least-privilege access.
Integrate security best practices with DevOps and engineering teams within CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor cloud resources for security incidents, unauthorized access, and potential threats, and manage response actions.
Stay informed on emerging security threats and Azure security features, adjusting the cloud security posture as necessary.
Support governance and compliance efforts, including GDPR, Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark, and internal security policies.
Work closely with the IT security team to maintain alignment with cloud and corporate security standards.
Requirements:
Technical Skills
Extensive Experience: Proven track record with security controls and frameworks, particularly in Microsoft Azure (Azure Security certification highly desirable). Please detail your experience with these frameworks.
Tools Expertise: Proficiency in HashiCorp Terraform, Sentinel, or similar policy-as-code frameworks for enforcing security. Share relevant experiences.
Network Security: Strong background in network security, including firewalls, load balancers, VNETs, subnets, and routing configuration for secure cloud operations.
DevSecOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, such as automating security checks in CI/CD pipelines. Explain your experience with these practices.
Compliance & Monitoring: Hands-on experience with monitoring and compliance tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) for security standard enforcement.
IAM Expertise: Solid understanding of identity and access management, particularly Entra ID configurations and multi-factor authentication.
Data Protection: In-depth knowledge of compliance frameworks like GDPR for data protection in cloud environments.
Scripting Skills: Proficient in PowerShell, Python, or similar for automating security tasks and creating custom reports.
Non-Technical Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a strong focus on prioritizing security in cloud operations.
Effective communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences. Please provide examples of past experiences.
Ability to work independently with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Confidence in presenting security policies, risks, and mitigation strategies to management and stakeholders.
Fluent in English (knowledge of French, Dutch, and/or German is an advantage).
Additional Information:
Location: Brussels and Namur, with up to three days of remote work permitted.
Eligibility for Non-EU Candidates: Candidates should hold a valid work permit and residence permit for Belgium. Due to secure network requirements, partial onsite presence is expected.
