Job Title: Data Architect
Aim:
Design the data architecture to support operational and strategic needs.
Job Description:
The Data Architect is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing data architectures. They ensure that data is organized, secure, and accessible, meeting both operational and strategic requirements.
Responsibilities:
Data Design and Modeling:
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Design solutions for structuring data flows, data warehouses, and database management systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Data Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the implementation and integration of databases and data analytics tools.
Ensure scalability, performance, and availability of data infrastructures.
Data Governance and Quality:
Define and implement data management standards and policies, focusing on quality, security, and compliance.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as GDPR.
Support and Technological Monitoring:
Provide technical support to project teams regarding data architecture.
Conduct technological watch to identify innovations in data management.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in database technologies: SQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Knowledge of data modeling frameworks and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
Familiarity with Big Data concepts and related technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud data management services.
Strong understanding of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies.
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Significant experience in data architecture, database management, or data engineering.
