Job Description: Business Analyst - Identity & Access Management (IDAM)

About the Role
The Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Tribe is part of the Cyber Information Security Office (CISO) Division and is responsible for implementing, operating, and managing all access to the IT infrastructure. The mission is to ensure appropriate access to resources at the right time, aligned with stringent compliance requirements.
The IDAM Tribe delivers services such as:
User lifecycle management.
Privileged access management.
Infrastructure management.
Security advisory services within the context of Identity and Access Management.
As a Business Analyst within CISO, you will play a critical role in delivering new systems or modifying existing systems. Your contributions will span the core Business Analyst role and elements of a Product Business Analyst.
Objectives
Support the Project Lead in defining scope by understanding objectives and constraints in the IDAM field.
Gather requirements and transform them into structured work products.
Define clear acceptance criteria to serve as a comprehensive test set.
Analyze the Target Operating Model, implementation, and migration approaches to refine scope and identify changes.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in feasibility studies.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and translate requirements (functional and non-functional) into technical specifications.
Define approaches for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation.
Design data analysis and data cleansing approaches.
Document business processes using BPMN tools.
Contribute to solution integration, implementation, and migration strategies, identifying new requirements (e.g., parallel operations for as-is and to-be processes).
Work with change management teams to ensure the adoption of new deliverables.
Assess the impact and security risks of new service developments on existing systems and identify mitigation strategies.
Facilitate communication between business, IT teams, and other key stakeholders during project delivery.
Define a testing approach for requirements to ensure the solution meets expectations.
Validate solutions through testing and ensure result traceability.
Update internal and external documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
Drive operational readiness for project solutions.
Follow the organization's methodology for creating clear and concise documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
Strong understanding of Identity Management, including:
Access (de)provisioning.
Role-based access control.
Joiner/Mover/Leaver (JML) activities.
ServiceNow integrations.
Access control models and policies.
Experience in onboarding applications into IAM tools.
Analytical and critical mindset with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) across all levels.
Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and meet their requirements.
Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
Problem-solving and solution-oriented approach.
Flexibility and adaptability in a continuously evolving environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Understanding of agile methodologies and experience in agile environments.
Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical data modeling and data visualization.
Knowledge of data management principles and practices, including data quality and governance.
Proficiency in MS Office, Tableau, and Power BI.
Professional fluency in English.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Familiarity with current IAM regulations and standards.
Understanding of Mainframe and RACF.
Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, ECBA, CCBA).
Experience with business process modeling and tools such as Adonis or Visio.
