Our client, a leading company in the Energy Sector, is responsible for engineering infrastructure projects related to the development, expansion, and renovation of the electricity transmission network from 36 to 380 kV.
Mission Description
As a Designer Secondary Systems, you will be a key member of the project team, working under the direction of the project manager. Your role will involve conducting studies related to protection, control-command, automation, and measurement equipment for High Voltage installations.
Responsibilities
Feasibility & Pre-Study Phase:
Assist the project manager in feasibility studies and preliminary project analyses.
Design & Study Phase:
Develop and execute detailed design studies.
Organize and manage study schedules, priorities, and deliverables.
Design protection block diagrams and detailed principle schematics.
Participate in material selection and definition.
Ensure the quality of studies using approved equipment, adhering to standards, norms, and methodologies.
Adapt and refine standards based on specific project requirements.
Perform quality control checks on externally conducted detailed studies.
Review manufacturer documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) of electrical equipment when required.
Execution & Implementation Phase:
Support the project manager in monitoring Low Voltage (LV) work on-site.
Serve as the point of contact for the operator, suppliers, and electrical assembly companies.
Identify and resolve design or implementation issues on-site.
Participate in technical site meetings and commissioning tests when necessary.
Project Closure Phase:
Conduct post-project debriefs related to LV design studies.
Ensure all schematics and documentation are updated to reflect final project conditions (As Built).
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree (Graduat/Bachelier) or equivalent experience in electricity, electronics, or automation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows applications).
Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.
Language Skills:
Strong command of French with a good understanding of Dutch.

Additional Information
Driver's License: Category B required.
Background in Electricity: Required.
Master's Degree: Preferred but not mandatory.
