An exciting contract opportunity for development engineers with background in diesel, air and fuel development is available in Peterborough. You will be joining the world beating component engineering department. Collaborating closely with the design engineers and suppliers to develop and refine the solution and support the release of parts onto bills of material in preparation for volume production.
With five years post qualification in industry, you should be skilled at
* fuel system, air system, EGR system, turbochargers, performance, data analysis.
* leading and participating in APQP (Advance product quality planning), FMEA (Failure mode effect analysis) and DVP&R (Design Verification plan).
* Product lifecycle management, Siemens Team Center, or other PLM software
The role is 2-3 days average on site work per week . Semi-flexible, days set by workload, development and production are on site so must be available to attend on site if required.
