Overview: Our client, a leading company in the Retail Sector, is embarking on an OmniChannel Planning initiative to enhance its supply chain planning capabilities. This initiative aims to integrate customer experience and expectations with an optimized fulfillment network by improving sales, demand, supply, and capacity planning.
As a Business Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and execution of the business architecture, ensuring it aligns with both the technical implementation and the overall strategic roadmap. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Data, UX, and Business leaders, to deliver a cohesive business solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the business architecture for OmniChannel Planning.
Align strategic objectives with actionable strategic imperatives, supporting key decision-making processes.
Define and describe business capabilities, assess gaps, and identify areas for maturity improvement.
Conduct impact analysis and heatmapping to identify changes related to OmniChannel Planning (OCP).
Connect business capabilities to process maps, ensuring a seamless flow from current to target state.
Collaborate with Tech Architects and various stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Data, UX, and Business leaders) to co-develop the complete business solution.
Requirements:
Strong background in Business Architecture.
Experience in software engineering and delivering technical solutions within a global, multi-national company.
Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes.
Proven experience working with OmniChannel platforms.
Hands-on experience in collaborating with product development teams.
Expertise in Business Capability Modelling and the use of Enterprise Architecture tools.
Ability to lead and facilitate workshops with senior leadership.
Highly organized with a structured approach to problem-solving.
A data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage data resources effectively.
