Mission Context
Do you want to help shape the bank of tomorrow, today? Are you eager to make the 'Unified Communications' world a better place-both from a manageability and end-user perspective?
Our client in the Banking Sector's IT department is currently working in an Agile environment, offering a challenging and motivating space where teams and employees are empowered to manage their own technical domain.
You will be part of the "Filière Telecom BE" tribe, which provides telecom services across the Belgian territory. This tribe works closely with our key partners, including ITGP and BP2I. The team deploys Belgium's network systems in line with the group's requirements and architecture, managing both data centers and office buildings.
Function Description
As part of the "Network Core & Voice" team, your role will focus on the following Voice-related activities:
Central telephony infrastructure (Oracle SBC & SIP Router)
Telephony for headquarters, regional offices, and branches (Cisco CUCM)
Voice Recording (NICE Engage)
Audio conferencing (Polycom Conference Phones)
Intercom systems (Commend, 2N)
SMS Gateway (Netsize / Femail Cheetah)
Cisco IronPort Email Security Appliances (ESA)
Telephony integration with external platforms (e.g., Atos Phone Banking, SIP trunks to providers/partners)
Indoor GSM Coverage (Proximus multi-operator DAS, VoWiFi, Astrid)
Telephony provisioning & orchestration (in-house development)
Telephony Reporting Tools (Oracle Communications Operations Monitor, PhonEX One)
Your Future Role
Working on VoIP or Unified Communication development and management is often seen as an 'overhead' task. By automating as much of the management as possible, IT staff can focus on more strategic and client-facing initiatives that contribute directly to the company's success. You will be applying DevOps principles to test VoIP phone configurations, platform, and infrastructure changes, helping the company deliver high-quality VoIP/UC services with fewer resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all automation and deployment efforts for the Voice infrastructure
Provide guidance to the squad on implementing best practice guidelines for automation

Automate and execute operational sysadmin tasks
