About the Role
Our client in the telecommunications sector is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Architect to support the design and implementation of cloud solutions. This role will focus 80% on private cloud and 20% on public cloud, requiring foundational knowledge of Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud to facilitate communication with business stakeholders and team members in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define the medium- and long-term architectural roadmap based on corporate strategy, in collaboration with Enterprise Architects, Security Officers, and business stakeholders.
Design functional and technical architecture in a complex IT application landscape, ensuring alignment with business expectations.
Provide high-level cost estimates and planning for the development cycle.
Define IT architecture and design for private, hybrid, and public cloud infrastructures.
Contribute to the creation and evaluation of RFPs/RFQs and proof of concepts.
Oversee the implementation of infrastructure requirements executed by application engineers, ensuring smooth deployment in the production environment.
Collaborate with application engineers to define a software lifecycle management strategy.
Required Experience & Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in architecture and design within a complex IT environment.
Proven expertise in designing and implementing public, private, and hybrid cloud-based solutions.
Strong knowledge of networking and security landscapes and their interaction with IT platforms.
Experience working with Visio for architecture and design documentation.
