Mission Context
Our client in the Banking Sector is seeking an experienced IT Architect to ensure the coherence and sustainability of IT solutions and systems. The role involves aligning architectural designs with enterprise strategy while considering technological evolution, internal and external constraints (risk, cost, time), and architectural best practices. The IT Architect will play a key role in defining, validating, and implementing solution architecture within their domain of responsibility.
The current focus of this mission is within the Data Hub Tribe and, to a lesser extent, the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Data Management. Key initiatives include:
Cloud migration of existing applications.
Development of an architectural roadmap for a new data strategy, enabling self-service data products, metadata management, data lineage, data virtualization, and cost-effective interaction with operational data stores.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in and provide architectural guidance for studies, projects, and asset developments.
Define and evolve IT solution architecture in alignment with enterprise strategy.
Deliver solution architecture documentation for the cloud migration initiative.
Design, document, and manage changes to reference architectures within the assigned domain.
Ensure compliance with architectural best practices, principles, and governance frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business and IT stakeholders, to deliver optimal architectural solutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certification
Strong IT background.
Certifications are not mandatory; relevant experience is prioritized.
Technical Experience (Mandatory)
Expertise in functional, technical, and application architecture.
Experience with architectural modeling and defining application architectures.
Preferred Experience
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies.
Previous involvement in application migration (e.g., data center relocations).
Knowledge of data mesh, data products, and data virtualization is an asset, but a strong background in functional and technical architecture is more critical.
Business Experience
Experience in large organizations, particularly in financial services or banking environments.

Fluency in English (working language).
