Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled System Engineer to join a small yet dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes and hands-on experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) environments. As a System Engineer, you will be key in streamlining development work and maintaining high-availability, secure, and scalable systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Monitor and optimize Kubernetes workloads, ensuring proper resource allocation and pod performance.
Implement security best practices for Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
Deploy, configure, and maintain HCI systems, ensuring they integrate with DevOps pipelines.
Optimize storage, networking, and compute resources within HCI environments.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within HCI solutions.
Work closely with software developers and system administrators to align DevOps practices with hardware limitations.
Provide guidance on Kubernetes and HCI best practices to the team.
Profile:
Education: Master's degree in computer science or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
Solid understanding of containerization and microservices architecture.
Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell or bash scripting.
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.
Previous experience in similar roles is a major asset.
Experience working on high-availability and robust systems.
Languages: Fluency in Dutch or French with a good comprehension of the other language; proficient technical English.
Required Experience:
