Mission Context:The Scrum Master plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful application of the Agile methodology within project teams. This role focuses on maximizing the efficiency of the team, fostering self-organization, and mitigating internal and external distractions. The Scrum Master also serves as an Agile ambassador, guiding teams, business lines, and stakeholders to optimize collaboration and deliver value effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Facilitation:
Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
Schedule and track key milestones of the Agile methodology.
Ensure seamless adoption and execution of Scrum practices while addressing team obstacles.
Assist the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
Support the team in achieving deliverables such as the Definition of Done (DoD) and Sprint Backlog.
Monitor and report on team capacity and velocity for better planning and progress tracking.
Agile Coaching & Project Methodology:
Guide and mentor the project team to enhance Agile maturity and self-organization.
Proactively identify and remove impediments to team effectiveness.
Promote Agile best practices and drive continuous improvement within the organization.
Provide regular reporting on the implementation and adherence to Scrum methodologies.
Manage project risks and issues effectively.
Requirements:
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English (mandatory).
Knowledge of Dutch (mandatory).
French language skills are a plus.
Work Arrangements:
Hybrid model: 50% on-site, 50% remote.
Limited travel to Paris may be required.
Experience & Knowledge:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master within Agile teams.
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Hands-on experience with Agile reporting and tracking tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).
Good understanding of software development methodologies and project management frameworks.
Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration tools.
Experience in the (International) Payments domain is a strong advantage.
