Role: Business Analyst - Identity and Access Management (IDAM)
Location: Candidates should be based in a country where our client in the Financial Sector has offices (Belgium, France, Netherlands). UK-based candidates will only be considered if they apply via an accredited umbrella company. A minimum of 8 days per month on-site in Belgium is mandatory.

About the Role
The Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Tribe is part of the Cyber Information Security Office (CISO) Division and is responsible for implementing, operating, and managing all access to and within the IT infrastructure. The primary mission is to ensure that employees have access to the right resources at the right time for the right reasons while meeting stringent compliance requirements.
The IDAM team covers:
User lifecycle management
Privileged access management
Infrastructure management
Security advisory services
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering new systems and modifications to existing ones, combining both Business Analyst and Product Business Analyst responsibilities. Within the IDAM 2.0 Programme, strong analytical skills and prior experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) are required.
Objectives
Assist the Project Lead in defining project scope within the Identity and Access Management domain.
Gather and document business and technical requirements in a structured manner.
Define clear acceptance criteria to facilitate comprehensive testing.
Analyze the Target Operating Model and devise implementation/migration strategies to refine scope and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct feasibility studies and assess project viability.
Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
Define a structured approach for data analysis and cleansing.
Create business process models using BPMN tools.
Contribute to solution integration and implementation/migration strategies.
Work with the change management team to ensure adoption of new deliverables.
Analyze the security impact of new services and identify risk mitigation measures.
Act as a bridge between the business, IT teams, and key contributors.
Define and implement a test approach to validate requirements and ensure traceability.
Participate in solution testing and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure operational readiness of project solutions.
Follow in-house methodology for clear and concise documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst.
Strong understanding of Identity Management, including access provisioning/deprovisioning, role-based access control, joiner/mover/leaver (JML) processes, and ServiceNow integrations.
Experience with IAM tool onboarding for applications.
Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and negotiate effectively.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, MS Office).
Strong knowledge of data management, quality, and governance principles.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with IAM regulations and standards.
Knowledge of Mainframe and RACF.
Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, ECBA, CCBA).
Experience with business process modeling tools (Adonis, Visio, or similar).
