About the Role
Our client in the Financial Sector is seeking a technically and business-oriented Test Engineer to join their Alliance Cloud team. This team is responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity across financial institutions worldwide.
As a Test Engineer, you will work in a dynamic, agile environment, collaborating with a global team of IT professionals. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to support end-to-end deliveries, from customer engagement to operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks integrated into a continuous delivery workflow.
Design and implement automated test scenarios to enhance software quality, testability, scalability, and performance.
Analyze, design, and specify test cases, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Troubleshoot and maintain the testing infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, influencing software design through testability best practices.
Contribute to process improvements by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Robot Framework, Jenkins, JIRA X-Ray, Red Hat OpenShift, and Docker.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a testing or development environment.
Experience with networking, systems, or business applications.
Background in test automation, risk-based testing methodologies, and test strategy development.
Technical Skills
Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium, or similar tools.
Proficiency in Python or Java.
Familiarity with JIRA X-Ray or other test management tools.
Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Knowledge of Linux, OpenShift, networking, databases, XML, and security principles.
